Changes to Trade Directory in 2012 Bribie Magazine
The magazine committee is currently putting together the 2012 Bribie Magazine.
We have had to make a change to the Trade Directory for 2012. The Directory will still have a full listing of essential services. The change this year is that Chamber Members will automatically receive a free listing in the directory but non-members will need to join the Chamber to be listed.
So to have your businesses listed in the directory for 2012, simply contact us for a membership form (yearly membership is $85) and not only will you get your listing, but will also obtain the other benefits of the Chamber.
See here for more information on becoming a member.

Bribie Lights Up 2011 - Support the Bribie New Years Eve fireworks
The Bribie Island Chamber of Commerce hosts the “Bribie Lights Up” Festival every year and it attracts tourists and locals to a fun, family atmosphere otherwise void in the area.
With the current economic situation more and more families are making Bribie Island their holiday destination. Our Festival is now known as the best New Years Eve Spectacular in the region, held in Brennan Park with Fireworks on the water in Pumicestone Passage, perfect venue. With over 18,000 people attending last year, the Festival substantially increased income for businesses not only on Bribie but the surrounding areas as well. It would be devastating if we were unable to reach our target this year.
So once again we are seeking Sponsors for this Event.
This years Festival will cost the Chamber (a non profit Organisation) in the vicinity of $25,000 as the numbers of tourists increase and we aspire to making it a night to remember but we can’t do it without the generosity of our Sponsors. In return we acknowledge all Sponsors through local radio and newspaper advertising, Sponsors are also invited to set up their own stall to promote their business on the night.
Bribie Island - A true “Jewel” on the coast of Queensland.
We hope you can help us to keep Bribie on the Map as the best place to be for New Years Eve.
